Message by Pastor Hanson – Be Transformed Temple

Good morning Dear one,  1st Corinthians 9:27 states “I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should. Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to others I myself might be disqualified.” NLT

Until now the focus of Paul’ teaching had been congregational, but in keeping faith with spiritual equitability, he turns his attention unto himself. It’s spiritual ignorance gone rampage for anyone to think, the preacher has no work to do on himself in the sight of God.

The Apostle was smart and will not fall for the Superman syndrome that has plagued the modern church. The minister needs to acknowledge with all humility the necessity of working on himself before the Lord. He knew he could be disqualified on the day, the secrets of the heart of all ‘men,’ including you and me, will be revealed. Don’t allow any sweet talking individual or organization to deceive you. He is God the Creator and has things he looks out for in a man’s heart. That’s impossible to detect by any human technological development, he told Samuel the prophet, man looks at the heart, outward visible or physical, but he God looks in the heart. To the human eye, you have it all well wrapped up and looking very heavenly bound. If the greatest Apostle of all time could be contemplating disqualification, after all the things God gave him the grace to do, then we cannot be careless about what’s in our hearts.

Where or to what is your heart drawn naturally without effort? For the bible says all things in creation lays naked before God Almighty, including the content of your heart and my heart. You are not too good not to go to hell.

Have a delightful day.
